This farmhouse-style pumpkin decor is a great craft to make with cheap Dollar Tree supplies that looks rustic with crackling paint, cozy, and matches any kitchen or dining room interiors.
No handcrafting skills required and this pumpkin tin decor can easily be reused (and even upgraded) year after year!

How To Make Dollar Tree Farmhouse Tin Pumpkin Décor
This pumpkin tin decor is easy to make with cheap materials and will make your space look pretty without drilling holes in your kitchen!
Teens and adults, I think, will find it most enjoyable and somewhat even meditative, but younger kids can for sure help with painting the wooden plaques and looking for the pefect branch in the park (to make pumpkin stem)
Supplies
- 3 wooden plaques from dollar tree crafters section
- 1 faux tin tile from dollar tree (they come in white/tan and white/blue. I got the white/tan)
- Paint Brush
- Stick (found outside)
- Raffia
- White and Hazelnut Chalk Paint (Waverly or FolkArt are great for crafting, both cheap)
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Pen
Instructions
Start by removing the back side of the faux tin, and tracing the smallest section of the wooden plaque on the faux tile. It doesn’t have to be exact as you can trim it after. Cut the faux tin.
Hot glue the faux tin onto each wooden plaque.
Then apply 3 coats of ivory chalk paint (if not using chalk paint it will require more coats of paint). This will completely cover the entire plaque.
Lay the wooden plaques so that the bottom two are touching in the middle and then the top one will be placed to cover those. Add hot glue to both of the inner sections of the bottom pumpkins and press the top pumpkin on firmly.
Add some hot glue to a stick for the stem and make a simple bow with raffia and hot glue to the stem.
You can stop here but I dry brushed some chalk paint in the color hazelnut over the top to highlight the tin accents.
The final pumpkin home decor you can use for Halloween and Thanksgiving will look like this:
