Taylor Swift Writing Prompts: 8 Pages For Swifties

Last Updated on May 31, 2026 by Masha Eretnova

If your kid or teenager (or you!) is obsessed with Taylor Swift, put that energy to work. These Taylor Swift writing prompts give young fans something to do with all those feelings about songs, lyrics, and friendship bracelets.

Each page of this set of 16 pages and 8 prompts has its own decorated “Swiftie” header to color and/or a prompt and a lined writing space. Kids grab a pencil and write.

What’s Inside

The set includes 16 writing pages across eight unique prompt themes. Each theme appears twice in the pack: one illustrated version with design elements and one plain-lined version so kids get more practice with the same prompt or you can reprint favorites.

    What Colors to Use

The pages print in black and white, so kids can color the “Swiftie” lettering and header illustrations however they like.

Each page has a different illustrated theme: heart-shaped sunglasses and stars, a microphone and red lips, butterflies and a Taylor illustration, friendship bracelets and cowboy boots, a cowboy hat and music notes, a diamond and lipstick.

For a cohesive look, give kids the same small palette for all the headers — lavender, rose pink, and gold work well and match the Eras Tour aesthetic. For a wilder result, hand them a full set of markers and let them go.

What Age Are Taylor Swift Writing Prompts For

These writing pages work best for kids ages 6 to 12.

The prompts are open-ended enough that a first grader can write three sentences and feel proud of it, while a ten or eleven year old can fill the page.

For younger kids, read the prompt aloud together and ask a few questions to help them get started. For older kids or confident writers, set a timer and let them go.

The pack also works well for any Swiftie adult who runs a fan club meeting, birthday party, or classroom event. The prompts are personal enough to spark real conversation, not just fill-in-the-blank answers.

    How to Use the Printable

Print all 16 pages or pick only the prompts your kids want to write about. Cardstock makes the pages feel more substantial, but regular printer paper works fine. You need a black and white printer — color printing is not required for this set.

Kids can also fill these out digitally if you have a tablet and a stylus or drawing app. Open the PDF, add a text box or use the annotation tool, and type or handwrite directly on the file.

For a party activity, print one or two prompts for each guest, set out pencils and colored pencils, and give kids 10 to 15 minutes to write before sharing with the group. The “If you could meet Taylor Swift” and “thank you letter” prompts work especially well with an audience.

For home use, rotate one prompt per day during summer break or set them out on the table as a quiet morning activity. The double-page format means kids can write the same prompt twice and compare their answers over time.
