I LOVE spending hours on the beach looking for shells and sea glass and interesting shapes and colors. I can stuff all my pockets with it – big child, right? Them I meet the look of my partner and I have to put them all down hah. BUT! If you and your kids got a jar of fun, colorful sea glass, there is so much you can do with it!
These sea glass crafts are using regular sea glass you can find on the beach and are best for teens and adults, but some are very doable for kids, too.
Sea Glass Bracelet
Incredibly simple idea for something fun and unique to wear is to assemble small, similarly shaped sea glass pieces on a string to make it a bracelet.
The only part where kids will need your help is to make holes.
Beach Inspired Candle Tray
Feel it up with driftwood, seashells, sea glass, and a bit of sand and place a candle with fresh ocean aromas. Great idea for bathrooms and bedrooms. But best for houses without young kids or pets that will flip this thing on the floor for you to clean… -__-

The eaiest way to use sea glass is to use it for imaginative play with kids. They can lay it out in shapes, draw missing parts, and have a whole story to tell you about it. Best part, with this activity you don’t even have to carry all the sea glass home, it is amazing to play right on the beach.

Send kids on a mission, or embark on a quest yourself, to find specific colors or shapes of sea glass and lay them out as fish, crabs, seahorses, insects, houses – anything! While green and blue sea glass are rathe common, you will have to keep your eyes peeled for other colors!
