The hot pink paint is achieved by mixing shades of pea-sized red and white paint, then adding blue to get the brightness. You could use Quinacridone Red and Zinc White for better results. Alternatively, blend red and silver OR mix red, purple, and yellow will also give you hot pink.

Hot pink is one of the most popular shades of pink. It can be achieved by blending the primary color, red, with other hues.
Here’s how you can make hot pink paint using the primary color “red”:
Blending Red with Silver
Hot pink can be achieved by blending white and red, but when it comes to brightness, it will be trickier, and silver will play a part in it.
Prepare your white and add red to it until you achieve the shade you desire, then add silver to attain the brightness of an excellent hot pink and to add a glamor effect.
Blending Quinacridone Red with Zinc White
The glazing technique is one of the best ways to achieve hot pink. It uses translucent bluish reds, like the most frequent shade of red in paints, Quinacridone Red blend with translucent Zinc White.
After mixing Quinacridone Red and Zinc White, add a pinch of blue or magenta until you achieve your desired hot pink.
Blending Red, Purple, and Yellow

- Using Fluorescent or Fluo, if you are using water-based acrylic paint, is also a good trick. You can add fluorescent red to your red and white mixture until you achieve your desired bright pink shade.
How to make neon pink paint?
Neon pink is often mistakenly called hot pink, but neon pink is brighter. It is produced when the light reflects on the paint; however, it will be challenging to create one.
You can play with neon paints and mix them to try making neon pink paint, like combining neon violet and neon yellow. Or, you can try to purchase ready-made neon pink paints if you need them urgently or for comparison purposes.
How to make hot pink paint without silver?
Although silver helps make beautiful hot pink paint, you can still make one without this color.

titanium white . - Blend red with white, and add a pinch of blue or magenta.

Here are three ways to make dark pink by mixing two colors:
- You can try blending more red than white.
- You can add a pinch of black to your pink paint to create a darker shade.
