Step-By-Step Tutorial
This Christmas bell tutorial is kid-friendly and uses very simple shapes, so anyone can follow along easily.
Step 1: Draw the Curvy Sides of the Bell

Start by drawing two simple curved lines, one on the left and one on the right, leaving about 5-10 cm between them. These will be the sides of your bell.
Step 2: Draw the Bottom Oval

Connect the sides with a long oval at the bottom. This creates the opening of the bell.
Step 3: Draw the Bow

At the top of the bell, draw a small square for the bow center.

Then add two big loops on each side, followed by two ribbon tails hanging down, reaching till the curved lines we drew first.

Add two short lines on each side of the bow to show the folds in the ribbon, then add a small dot across from each line.
Step 4: Draw the Clapper

Draw a small circle inside the bottom opening of the bell for the clapper. The circle won’t be full, it is ok.
Step 5: Add Details

Add two short lines on the front of the bell to show its curve.
Step 5: Add Bell Hanger

Draw two circles on top of the bow, one big circle and one small circle inside it, to make the bell hanger.
Step 7: Color your Christmas Bell

Start by coloring the bell and the bow with a very light layer of yellow.
Keep your strokes soft so the color looks smooth.

Add another layer of yellow to make the bell brighter.
Press a little harder around the sides and along the curved lines to make the yellow darker.
This creates shading and makes the bell look rounder.

Color the bow using your red pencil. Add a second layer of red near the folds and the edges to make those areas darker.
This makes the bow look brighter and more real.
